SEO Engineer

An experienced SEO Engineer is required by Regency Marketing 

Working on numerous high profile accounts across a variety of sectors this role will have an 85-90% focus on SEO with secondary exposure to PPC, analytics and online marketing. Responsibilities include natural optimisation of websites according to client objectives - competitor and keyword research, link development, on-page optimisation and HTML implementation and the ability to report on and demonstrate results achieved. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and management of the strategic technical recommendations for client web sites. The SEO Engineer will also work with the account service team and new business leads to scope and price prospective engagements and participate in new business pitches when necessary.

To be considered you will have demonstrable online/search marketing experience; preferably within an agency environment with proven experience of achieving high 'organic` search engine rankings and successful PPC campaign management - examples will be requested. This will be complemented with the ability to recognise structural barriers of a website to limiting successful SEO/PPC and advise accordingly how to remedy these issues.

You will have the ability to manage your own workload within a results and deadline driven environment, prioritising workflow accordingly. Attention to detail is also a must along with excellent organisational skills, and an analytical mind to provide ongoing reporting and consultancy. You could also be client facing and as such should be well presented, articulate, and a confident communicator.

Technical knowledge is imperative, from a development background with skills in HTML, JavaScript, ASP, PHP, Cold Fusion, NET and Perl. Agency experience would be advantageous.
